Corunna Caledonia Fire Department Board

The commission meets regularly on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Board Room at Caledonia Charter Township Hall

The Current Membership is as follows:

The City of Corunna appointments are made by the Mayor subject to confirmation by the City Council. The term of appointment for the At-Large member is Two (2) years.

BY-LAWS:

MEMBERSHIP: 5 - 2) Corunna Elected Officials, 2) Caledonia Elected Officials, 1) At Large appointment alternated between the 2 governing bodies in odd years - Appointed by the Fire Board)

RESTRICTIONS: No member of the current Fire Department or who  has served within 1 year as a Fireman shall be a Member of the Board

TERM OF OFFICE: Member at Large - 2 years, Elected Officials - As per Position

APPOINTMENT: Corunna Representatives - By Mayor, subject to confirmation by Council; Member at Large - Elected by the 4 Board Members

AUTHORITY: Fire Agreement, Fire Board By-Laws, Council Rules of Procedure

REGULAR MEETING DATE: 4th Thursday at 7:00pm - Caledonia TWP Hall

**All meetings are subject to Open Meetings Act requirements. Meeting must be posted in advance on the city calendar and notices must be sent at least two days prior.**

ATTENDANCE: Undefined

MINUTES: Proposed minutes are to be submitted to members within 10 days of the meeting. Approved minutes are due to City Hall with 2 days of approval.
