Funding for the Current Corunna Police Department includes 1 Part Time Chief of Police (~32 hours/week), 1 Administrative Assistant (40 hours/week), 2 Full Time Officers, and an average of 80 hours/week of Part Time Officers (Not to exceed 4 employees). Currently, we also have 1 unpaid reservist, as well as 1 crossing guard (funded by the Corunna Public Schools). Administration and Union enjoy a close working relationship with the common goal of providing around-the-clock law enforcement services during these difficult financial times.

With proper scheduling, this budget and staffing level has provided the residents of the City of Corunna with 24/7 coverage by the Corunna Police Department.
